Austin artist BRIKS, in collaboration with Asterisk Group, transformed a blank slate of walls above the book stacks in the Doss Elementary School library. With a bucket of latex paint and list of characters provided by Principal Janna Griffin and librarian Bonnie Lang, BRIKS spent days wrapping the space with a magical, sweet, and funny mural — a work of art that kids (and adults) will enjoy for years to come. Thanks to the Doss PTA for funding this project.
